1st Experience travel at night

Hi,

I believed anyone of you should experient a night flight in long hours (for me, more than 8hrs is considered as long hour). The only thing could do while long hour in the cabin is sleeping (watching video??? Most probably the video is watching u). Lucky you if upgraded to BIZ-class or higher (by own cost is not within my consideration) because seat is so comfortable....plus soft & pretty stewardess....

Let me share about mine....I was lucky to purchase a zero-fare to Gold Coast, Australia, and it cost me about RM800/2ways (travelling date was 22May09 at 9:30pm)

Exciting, indeed, because, I was planning to Australia (doesn't matter which part, but as long as within Australia) since schooling time (due to the influence by lecturer).

I stopped by sis-in-law's house for final preparation...borrowed MP4 & jacket, then departed to airport about 7pm. Quite precautious at airport due to the A-type H1N1 (I dont want to be quarantined, please...).

Boarding on time and got the seat no: 22A...window view was the fin. Umm...doesn't matter-lah, I' m ready to fly to my favourate place!

The captain announced there was a 8-hour travelling time to Coolangatta Airport (Gold Coast) and the time difference was 2hrs, i.e. AUS 10pm but MAL at 8pm. Immediately, I corrected my watch to AUS time...to avoid jetlag (although 2hrs difference dont cause a serious jetlag, but prevention better than cure-ma).

During the travelling time, it was quite suffering because the seat could not decline at all (luckily, our 3-seat row not fully occupied. Ohterwise, it should be another disaster).

I was so sleepy and tried very hard to fall asleep....Op yes! The cabin light at our place could not off when stewardess turned off the light. We complained about this malfunction (including 2 Mak-salleh behind). One of the stewardess came to solve but just said sorry at last....I was quite dissatisfied about their service..."Hmm...must complain to Tony....".

Zzzzz...."what was keep pushing me???" I was awake, and open my sleepy eyes (angry at the 1st place...I was so enjoying the sleep after the several hard try), they were 2 stewardess beside me (one of them was pushing me because she tried to go close to the malfunction light). Oh...I see! They tried to fix the light by covering the black sheet with duct-tab (sorry-lah for my anger). Finally, they fixed...although not 100% dark, better than none!

Now what...the disaster began (my watch was showing +/-1am), I could not sleep anymore. I tried MP4, turned the body here and there...Uh! It was so uncomfortable and hard to bend my legs (TIPS: do not wear jean when travelling at night, try a cotton-trousers....believe me, it will make you much comfortable & warm).

Oh...shxx! When arrived??? I kept asking myself and almost looked at my watch every hour...Finally, I waited for the day turn bright...lets looked what was the difference of the sky...Hmmm...I dont know, you tell me!

I arrived Coolangatta AP about 7:30am (AUS time). The weather just nice for me...about 20deg C.

OK...lets find a good place for Zzzzz.... (I would transit to Sydney at 11am). Sorry...I not gonna to show any face of mine. Or you could refer "Kongfu Master Panda" if interested....
